AT 18, I MOVED TO LISBON TO STUDY MARKETING MANAGEMENT. HOWEVER, THE ENDLESS HOURS LOST IN TRAFFIC AND THE LACK OF TIME SPENT WITH MY FRIENDS MADE ME RETURN TO BEJA AFTER GRADUATION.
FATE LED ME TO ACCEPT A TEMPORARY JOB POSITION IN MY FATHER'S PHOTOGRAPHY STORE. THAT "TEMPORARY POSITION" LASTED 13 YEARS, DURING WHICH I LEARNED PHOTOGRAPHY, STUDIED PHOTOGRAPHY, AND IMMERSIVELY ENGAGED IN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY. OVER THoSE 13 YEARS, MY approach to WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY EVOLVED: THE COMMERCIAL ASPECT FADED, GIVING WAY TO VALUING EMOTIONS, AESTHETICS, AND A DOCUMENTARY VISION OF THE WEDDING DAY.
AFTER A PANDEMIC WHERE I REALIZED LIFE LITERALLY CHANGES FROM ONE DAY TO ANOTHER, I DECIDED TO TAKE THE LEAP I NEEDED TO GROW: IN 2022, I LAUNCHED MY OWN BUSINESS, AND TODAY I AM HAPPIER AND MORE FULFILLED!
WHAT I ENJOY PHOTOGRAPHING THE MOST ARE "TRUE LOVE STORIES" IN THEIR VARIOUS FORMS: MY FAMILIES UNDER CONSTRUCTION, AS I LIKE TO CALL THEM. THERE IS NOTHING MORE GRATIFYING THAN PHOTOGRAPHING A PASSIONATE COUPLE, CAPTURING THEIR WEDDING, PREGNANCY SESSIONS, THE BIRTH OF THEIR CHILDREN, BAPTISMS, AND NUMEROUS SESSIONS THAT ALLOW ME TO CRAFT THE STORY OF THAT FAMILY AND CREATE TIMELESS MEMORIES.

How are the weddings I photograph
My weddings are very fun, relaxed, emotional, and joyful days! They are unique and never repeat themselves! I am aware of the responsibility of creating memories from these days, and the only possible option is to be free and creative. Planning beforehand is the key to capturing all the emotions and moments in a relaxed manner, always with that unique artistic freedom that ensures each "true love story" is one of a kind and the created memories are timeless.
Where do I work
I live in Alentejo, but I photograph anywhere on the planet! Although I love the warmth of my Alentejo, I also photograph many events in the Lisbon and Algarve areas. If you want me to capture your "true love story," send me an email and tell me everything!
What's my delivery time and how many photos will you get
I deliver all edited photos within a maximum period of 90 days. The delivery of the album will depend on your choice and any potential changes, but I would say that after the approval of the layout, it will be with you within 3 to 4 weeks.
As for the number of photographs... that's a difficult question... I cannot predict that number. It depends on numerous factors such as the number of working hours, the number of guests, or even the level of excitement on your dance floor! I have delivered 600 photos for a small ceremony or over 1500 for a large wedding... The only thing I can guarantee is that we will do everything to capture all the moments, specially those that you wont see!
How I describe my style
I'm not sure if I know how to answer that question...
If you're looking for a traditional record, perhaps I'm not the right person to capture your Wedding.
I would say that I have a great time capturing your day, interfering as little as possible and capturing more emotions than poses.
In essence, I'm a free spirit always seeking to see beyond the obvious.
Do I work alone? What about the video?
I love working alone and I do it quite often at weddings with up to 100 guests. For larger weddings or those involving travel between the bride and groom, I have an incredible team of photographers who are always willing to go along with my craziness...
I do not offer video coverage but I'd love to recommend some of my favourite videographers to work with!
Other things I photograph besides weddings
Love can take on various forms and, in addition to weddings and christenings, I also photograph families in the studio and outdoors, birthday parties, portraits, products, corporate events, and real estate.
