Hi, I'm Ana.
I'm the daughter and granddaughter of photographers, and I grew up in my grandfather's photography studio in Beja, often being used as the model for his lighting tests. That's where I learned to notice the beauty in people, objects and light.
I believe photographing a wedding is about so much more than pressing a button. It's about experiencing your day alongside you. Smiling during the happy moments, tearing up during the emotional ones, raising my camera for a toast during cocktail hour and moving with it on the dance floor to your playlist.
But above all, it's about understanding the responsibility of creating incredible memories from a day that only happens once, and that you'll want to remember forever.
What I want most for your wedding day is for you to truly live it. Not spend it worrying about the photographs.
That's why I work with a documentary approach. I'm always paying attention to the gestures, the laughter, the hugs and all those moments that simply can't be recreated.
But photographing without interrupting doesn't mean leaving beauty to chance.
I'm constantly looking for the light, the composition and the little details. When you need some guidance, I'll give it. When a moment simply needs space, I'll step back and let it happen.
The result is a story that feels honest, emotional and visually considered. Photographs that show not only what happened, but above all, what it felt like. Including the moments you didn't even see.

Throughout the planning process, I'll be here to answer questions, share suggestions and help you think through timings and decisions that can influence both your experience and your photographs.
After photographing so many weddings, I know where delays tend to happen, which moments deserve a little more time and which small details are easy to overlook when you're planning a wedding for the first time.
I want you to arrive at your wedding feeling relaxed, confident and knowing we're completely on the same page.
On the day itself, I naturally blend in with your family and friends, staying close to everything that's happening and documenting it in the most natural and beautiful way possible.

After our video call, I'll hold your date provisionally for five days so you have time to look through everything and make your decision without any pressure.
Inside your client portal, you'll find everything you need to move forward. You'll choose the collection that suits you best, sign the contract and pay the retainer.
And just like that, your wedding photographer is officially booked!

Based in Beja, I work as a wedding photographer across Alentejo, the Algarve and Lisbon, as well as throughout Portugal.
From countryside weddings in Beja and Évora to celebrations by the ocean in the Algarve, and weddings in Lisbon, Sintra and Alenquer, each place brings something different to your day.
